Job Summary
Oversee and direct community construction projects for The Village at Landmark, reviewing deliverables, estimating costs, and managing on-site and off-site activities while ensuring compliance with building and safety regulations. Utilize BuildPro to create daily schedules, coordinate construction activities, and procure materials to maintain budget adherence. Schedule inspections, identify problems, and manage contracts with trade contractors to ensure timely delivery. Provide job site management by maintaining organized, safe, and secure production sites, overseeing erosion control per SWPPP regulations, and conducting quality control inspections and pre-occupancy orientations. Monitor job sites daily, hold safety meetings, and appraise performance of direct reports while making recommendations on promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in residential or multi-family construction in a high-production environment
- Expertise in residential construction concepts, practices, and codes
- Experience in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of residential construction
- Knowledge of building codes, residential construction concepts, and practices
- Strong time management, communication, and organization skills
- Ability to read building plans, analyze problems, and recommend and implement solutions
- Effective leadership skills to manage and supervise activities of direct reports
- Ability to effectively work with managers and employees at all levels and develop positive relationships and a productive culture
- Success in maintaining effective working relationships with customers, contracted agencies and workers, other employees, and supervisory personnel
- Comfortable working hands-on when needed, ensuring completed projects
- OSHA 10/30 Construction qualification
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience working with BuildPro is a plus
- Class A building license a plus
