Job Summary
Lung Transplant Fellowship opportunity under NON-ACGME program at UPMC in Pennsylvania. The fellow will participate in advanced training across two high-volume transplant services, lead day-to-day heart and lung transplant inpatient care (pre-, intra-, and post-operative), ICU rounding, discharge planning, and serve as a teaching assistant for junior cardiothoracic fellows and residents. duties include coordinating multidisciplinary care with transplant cardiology, pulmonology, ECMO/VAD services, infectious diseases, pharmacy, PT/OT, social work, and care management; participating in organ offers/list management, operative planning, and OR participation for transplant procedures; engaging in quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives; and participating in on-call as assigned.
