Job Summary
Lung Transplant Fellowship opportunity for a Lung Transplant Surgeon at UPMC located in Pennsylvania. The role involves leading day-to-day management of heart and lung transplant inpatients (pre-, intra-, and postoperative care, ICU rounds, discharge planning), coordinating multidisciplinary transplant teams (cardiology, pulmonology, ECMO/VAD, infectious diseases, pharmacy, PT/OT, social work, care management), participating in organ offers and planning, contributing to quality and safety initiatives, and taking call as assigned. The fellow will serve as a teaching assistant to junior cardiothoracic fellows and residents through bedside teaching, case-based education, and structured didactics.
