Job Summary
Supervise students in the lunchroom and adjacent areas while enforcing MPS policies and behavior standards. Clean the food service and dining areas, including tables, chairs, floors, and surfaces, to maintain orderly, safe, and sanitary conditions. Assist with preparing and packaging food as needed, and support other MPS staff when requested. Interact courteously with clients, visitors, and District staff while maintaining confidentiality and following child abuse compliance rules. Work a two-hour shift from 11am to 1pm under basic supervision.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Some customer service work experience
- Knowledge of MPS policies and procedures
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation practices for maintaining and cleaning food distribution and storage areas
- Skill in monitoring lunchroom operations
- Skill in enforcing student compliance with MPS policies
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relations with co-workers
- Skill in communicating effectively verbally and in writing
- Valid North Dakota State Driver's License
