Job Summary
Supervise students during playground and cafeteria activities, organizing group games and directing movement to maintain a harmonious, safe environment. Monitor student behavior, including the use of utensils and quiet voices, while providing assistance to those with special needs. Assume responsibility for play equipment, carry a first aid pack, and report any accidents or problems immediately. Follow established safety procedures, maintain student confidentiality, and participate in in-service training programs. Prior experience in a school setting is desired.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- Excellent human relations skills
- Experience with young people
- Ability to demonstrate keen observation competence
- Dresses appropriately in a manner suitable for the job
