Job Summary
Monitor students in the lunchroom and playground before, during, and after lunchtime while ensuring compliance with school rules and maintaining a safe, orderly environment. Assist students with opening food items, microwaving lunches, and distributing supplies, then wash tables during and after lunch. Communicate with students, staff, and the community to answer questions and disseminate information. Maintain confidentiality throughout all duties. Work requires standing, walking, reaching, and occasionally stooping, kneeling, crouch, or crawling in a loud environment. High school diploma or equivalent required; experience working with children preferred. Knowledge of school policies and safety regulations essential, along with strong communication skills and the ability to write simple routine reports.
