Job Summary
Supervise students at playtime, organize group games, and ensure safety on playground equipment while directing student movements. Administer first aid for injuries, check weather and equipment conditions, and maintain established safety standards. Promote fairness, complete disciplinary reports for misbehavior, and assist in the cafeteria as needed. Maintain consistent attendance and perform other duties assigned. This role supports Knapp Forest Elementary's mission through meaningful playground leadership and direct student engagement.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Experience working with children
- Knowledge of first aid procedures/protocol
- Consistent and reliable attendance
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to talk, hear (in a noisy environment)
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust/focus
