Job Summary
Supervise students at playtime, organize group games, and ensure safety while maintaining established standards. React properly to injuries, administer first aid if needed, and check equipment and weather conditions for hazards. Direct student movements, promote fairness, and complete disciplinary reports for serious incidents. Assist in the cafeteria as needed. This role supports Meadow Brook Elementary's playground leadership through meaningful engagement and exercise while maintaining student safety.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Experience working with children
- Knowledge of first aid procedures/protocol
- Consistent and reliable attendance
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to talk, hear (in a noisy environment)
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust/focus
