Job Summary
Lunch Monitor needed in a school cafeteria to support students and staff. Responsibilities include greeting and interacting with students, maintaining a positive lunchroom environment, assisting with cleaning and organizing tasks, supervising children to ensure safety and order, assisting with needs such as opening milk cartons, reporting injuries or illnesses, and performing other duties as assigned. Requires effective verbal and written communication, ability to stand/walk for extended periods, light lifting up to 10 pounds, and the ability to work cooperatively in a fast-paced school setting. Applicants must complete online application, provide a resume, transcripts, and references; background investigation, fingerprinting, and tuberculosis screening are required. Pay scale: $12.00/hour. This is a temporary, part-time position with Richmond Public Schools.
