Job Summary
Assist in supervising children at lunch time in the cafeteria and on school grounds, encouraging good table manners and maintaining discipline per district policies. Monitor student health, safety, and welfare during serving lines, eating, recess, and dismissal while helping students secure trays and food. Report all injuries, accidents, illnesses, and discipline problems to the Principal or designee immediately. Handle complaints with a service-oriented attitude and treat all students with dignity and respect. Perform other lunchroom supervisory duties as assigned by the building Principal.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work cooperatively with adults and children
- Communicates with students and staff in a positive and professional manner utilizing appropriate customer service and interpersonal skills
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Physically able to perform duties as assigned at a sufficient speed
- The ability to handle complaints

- Frequent walking

Desired Qualifications
