Job Summary
Role: Supervise students during lunch and playground at Smithsburg Elementary School, managing 90-100 students in cafeteria and on the playground, maintaining a calm noise level, guiding orderly dismissal and transitions, and assisting with meal-related tasks (e.g., trays, condiments, opening thermos bottles). Maintain a courteous, professional demeanor and foster a friendly environment in collaboration with other staff. Hours are part-time (up to 2.25 hours/day) for a 10-month school year (180 days). Environmental factors include standing/walking for extended periods and handling activities in a busy, high‐attendance setting.

- Demonstrated ability to work successfully with students and adults.

- Regular and predictable attendance.
