Job Summary
Lunch Assistant at Maugansville Elementary School: supervise and manage 90-100 students in the cafeteria and on the playground during lunch periods and recess; assist with distributing lunch condiments and helping students with trays and opening containers; guide orderly dismissal from cafeteria to classrooms and to playground; maintain a safe, courteous, and professional demeanor and support a positive school environment. Hours vary, up to 2.25 hours per day, on a 10-month work year (180 days); position paid at a fixed hourly wage of $15.00 for the 2026-2027 school year.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully with students and adults.
- Ability to supervise students.
- Regular and predictable attendance which is an essential function of this position.
