Job Summary
Verify inventory of all incoming and outgoing freight and ISTs, unload incoming shipments, and process discrepancies and credits. Develop a system of cycle counts, assist with yard/warehouse organization including labels and special orders, and maintain a clean work environment. Support daily store opening and closing procedures while engaging in customer service and increasing knowledge of industry products and sales techniques. Forklift certification required; forklift certified candidates preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent needed with building products knowledge a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Building products knowledge and/or sales experience
- Ability to handle and maneuver stock and deliveries weighing up to 60lbs.
- Ability to stand and be mobile for prolonged periods
- Forklift certified
Desired Qualifications
- Detailed knowledge of specific product area (i.e. windows, doors, decking, framing material)
- Proficient with POS systems (building supply specific a plus)
