Job Summary
Greet customers and contractors in the yard and assist in loading materials into customer vehicles and company delivery vehicles. Load, unload, and stock materials including shingles, drywall, lumber, and millwork; operate forklift to merchandise yard/warehouse; build and prepare loads for delivery; assist truck drivers with deliveries to homeowners and job sites; manage inventory, displays, and pricing labels; follow safety policies and maintain a clean, organized yard. Requires strong communication, teamwork, basic math and the ability to work in varying weather conditions. Pre-employment drug testing and background checks are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year of related work experience preferred
- valid state issued driver’s license (Missouri location requires Class E)
- Forklift experience preferred; will train the right candidate
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Pre-employment drug testing and background checks in accordance with law
