Job Summary
Greet customers or contractors in person; load and unload materials; operate forklift to stock yard and prepare loads for delivery; assist truck drivers with delivery to homeowners and job sites; maintain inventory, displays, and pricing labels; follow safety policies; respond to product inquiries and provide customer service; perform duties to ensure safe, organized yard operations and efficient delivery processes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year of prior related work experience preferred
- valid state issued driver’s license (Missouri requires a Class E license)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Experience or ability to operate forklift (will train the right candidate)
- Knowledge of building materials and related products is helpful
