Job Summary
Receive lumber deliveries, measure board footage, and operate scanners to complete inventory-control transactions. Organize, stock, and inventory the lumber area while creating and verifying tags. Assist with stickering, un-stickering, stacking, and palletizing, then conduct cycle counts. Load and unload trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks, and prepare materials for transfer to the Tecate facility or shipment. Communicate logistical concerns to supervisors and participate in 5S activities. Work Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM at the El Cajon campus.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- 3 – 5 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to qualify to drive a company vehicle
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record for company insurance coverage
- Ability to climb and descend a ladder with materials and pulling, pushing, or lifting up to 45 lbs
