Job Summary
Assists with lumber receipts, deliveries, and inventory control by measuring board footage, operating scanners, and conducting cycle counts. Creates and verifies lumber tags, manages stickering, stacking, and palletizing, and prepares materials for transfer to the Tecate facility or external shipments. Operates forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload trucks, participates in 5S activities, and communicates logistical concerns to supervisors. Requires a high school diploma, 3–5 years of related experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- 3 – 5 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to qualify to drive a company vehicle
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record for company insurance coverage
- Ability to climb and descend a ladder with materials and pulling, pushing, or lifting up to 45 lbs
