Job Summary
Achieve or exceed sales goals by calling on contractors and builders in the assigned territory; perform take-offs, quoting, and pricing; create and maintain strong relationships with new customers while building loyalty with existing customers; actively identify and pursue new business opportunities; develop and deliver sales presentations and close sales; collaborate with operations to align inventory, delivery, and execution; represent and promote the company at trade shows and industry events; commit to continuous learning and knowledge of the company’s products and stay up to date on industry trends and developments that may affect the market.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of sales experience in lumber or building materials
- Strong estimating skills – plan reading and take-offs required
- Valid driver’s license + MVR pass
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
