Job Summary
Lumber Laborer to support production and yard operations in a Roseville, CA lumberyard. Responsibilities include operating a forklift (certified), counting materials with high accuracy, loading/unloading trucks and rail cars, rotating stock, maintaining a clean and organized yard, assisting with packaging for shipping or storage, and adhering to OSHA and Erickson safety standards. Requires manual handling of materials, familiarity with wood/construction materials, and the ability to work safely in a team environment; physically demanding with emphasis on detail, reliability, and effective communication. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Forklift certification and ability to operate a forklift safely
- Proven experience in a lumberyard or similar setting
- Knowledge of wood and construction materials
- Understanding and use of various hand and power tools
- Lifting up to 100 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and ability to work as part of a team
