Job Summary
LUH72 Aircraft Mechanic I responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing aircraft structures, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic, engines, APU, and environmental systems; reading maintenance manuals and technical data; performing 100-hour and various scheduled inspections; inspecting jet engines and components for wear and damage; removing and reinstaling engines and components; working on electrical wiring and aircraft accessories; recording maintenance in a log; potential line maintenance and specializations in structural, precision, or engine components; must provide own tools and meet facility credentials/authorization requirements; understanding safety and environmental hazards in a hangar or outdoor setting.
