Job Summary
Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and routine vehicle maintenance while inspecting vehicles and recommending service based on manufacturer guidelines. Check and top off fluids, replace filters and batteries, and conduct tire repairs and installations. Execute multi-point vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Collaborate with service advisors and technicians to deliver an outstanding customer experience, navigate computer systems for documentation, and develop advanced repair skills through ongoing training. Requires a valid driver's license, physical ability to lift 50 pounds and work on lifts, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced shop environment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work with vehicles on lifts above shoulder height
- Ability to work comfortably in confined spaces as required
- Ability to use hand tools with precision and dexterity
- Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the workday
- Ability to maintain a productive pace in a high-volume shop
- Ability to navigate computer systems for inspections and repair documentation
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months to 2 years of automotive experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is preferred
