Job Summary
Receive repair orders from the dispatcher and perform vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements, in accordance with factory standards. Diagnose malfunctions, complete multi-point inspections, and road-test vehicles to quality-check repairs while maintaining communication with the service advisor regarding parts availability or additional work needs. Document all findings on repair orders and inspection sheets, save warranty parts as requested, and maintain tools and workspace organization. Achieve production objectives and complete required on-line and factory-sponsored training.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable, safe driving record
- Ability to take direction and perform tasks efficiently and safely
- Demonstrates safe workplace practices
- Demonstrates safe driving skills
- Basic tool knowledge
- Oil change skills
- Tire rotation skills
- Filter replacement skills
- Inspection skills with knowledge of visual component failures
- Must be able to stand for long periods at a time
- Must be able to frequently bend, stretch, twist, or reach with their body, arms, and/or legs
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must be able to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects
- Must be able to use hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials
- Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs
- Must maintain a high level of grooming, hygiene and uniform appearance
- Must maintain high ethical standards in all actions
- Must be able to complete On-Line training
- Must be able to attend factory-sponsored training classes
- Must be available for 100% on-site work
