Job Summary
Perform oil changes on guest vehicles with speed, efficiency, and accuracy. Inspect and replace oil, cabin, air filters, and fluids while checking tire pressure. Mount and balance tires, conduct detailed multi-point inspections, and machine rotors. Document all work performed and recommended repairs on the repair order. Road test vehicles when required or refer to the test technician. Ensure customer vehicles are kept clean and operate electronic diagnostic equipment. Requires Ford Certification as a plus, minimum of one year in service department, ability to lift 50 pounds, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment. Required Qualifications
- Ford Certification is a plus
- Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus
- Ability to identify the problem quickly
- Knowledge of automobiles
- Effective analytical and communication skills
- Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills
- Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
- Comfortable operating electronic diagnostic equipment
- High school diploma or GED
- Technical degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year in service department
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills
- Positive, friendly attitude
