Job Summary
Perform all lubrication services and operate maintenance equipment while conducting thorough checks of customer vehicles, including batteries, lights, and tires. Lubricate the entire car while identifying additional repair needs, refer all necessary work to the Service Advisor, and ensure the vehicle remains clean. Receive repair orders from the Service Salesman or Production Foreman, proceed to the service lift, and verify that all equipment functions properly. Follow company safety policies and report any accidents immediately.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- Two years of experience as a technician's helper or apprentice in an automobile dealership
- Manual dexterity
- Good judgment
- Authorization to work in the USA
- Ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license
