Job Summary
Perform oil changes, tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balancing, rotations, and alignments while conducting state safety and emission inspections. Safely transport customers and pick up parts from vendors using the company vehicle, and maintain shop cleanliness across the service area, tire racks, and showroom. Observe general vehicle conditions during basic services and document findings using the Multi-point Inspection and Repair Order. Work a minimum of five days including Saturdays in an environment with moderate to loud noises and potential exposure to lubricants and petroleum products.
Required Qualifications
- Possess valid driver's license
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturday's
- Stand up to eight hours per day in the shop and able to walk to gain access to various areas of the building
- Bend, stoop, kneel and crouch regularly throughout the day; must have full range of motion with arms and hands and be able to feel, handle or finger objects frequently
- Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, lift and/or move up to 70 pounds frequently
- Communicate with customers and shop personnel
- Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and re-focus
Desired Qualifications
- A general understanding of automotive mechanics preferred
