Job Summary
Transport customers to and from their residence or business using the company vehicle, and pick up parts, supplies, and tires from vendors or the corporate office. Operate the vehicle safely while conducting state safety and emission inspections, performing tire mounting, balancing, rotation, and oil changes at the direction of the Shop Foreman or Store Manager. Observe general vehicle conditions during basic services, document findings using the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order, and maintain shop cleanliness across the service area, tire racks, showroom, and exterior. Report any safety concerns or needed repairs to management and adhere to all safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Possess valid driver's license
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturday's
- Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and re-focus
Desired Qualifications
- A general understanding of automotive mechanics preferred
