Job Summary
Conduct oil changes, tire mounting, wheel balancing, and alignments while performing state safety and emission inspections. Safely transport customers and vendors using the company vehicle, picking up parts and supplies as needed. Maintain shop cleanliness across the service area, tire racks, and showroom. Observe general vehicle conditions during basic services and document findings using the Multi-point Inspection and Repair Order. Follow all safety procedures and report concerns to management. Work five days a week including Saturdays in an environment with moderate to loud noises and exposure to lubricants and exhaust fumes.
Required Qualifications
- Possess valid driver's license
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturday's
- Stand up to eight hours per day in the shop
- Bend, stoop, kneel and crouch regularly throughout the day
- Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly
- Lift and/or move up to 70 pounds frequently
- Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and re-focus
Desired Qualifications
- A general understanding of automotive mechanics preferred
