Job Summary
The LTW Assistant Director serves as a senior program administrator for the Learning-to-Work (LTW) program, collaborating with the Program Director to maintain DOE site partnerships, oversee intake and enrollment goals, supervise advisors, manage alumni relations, organize internship opportunities, and support students’ academic, career, and personal goals. Responsibilities include guiding advisory curriculum aligned with Common Core Standards, conducting student/family intake and orientations, maintaining partner relations with employers, handling databases and fiscal records, preparing curriculum and seminars, coordinating field trips and events, and ensuring timely program reporting and compliance. Requires a BA/BS and at least two years of youth-related experience, strong communication and organizational skills, supervisory experience, and DOE fingerprinting clearance. Work schedule is generally Monday–Friday with some overnight travel possible.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum BA/BS with at least two years’ experience with youth-related work
- Excellent verbal, analytical, writing, communication and organizational skills
- Strong supervisory, leadership, and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and handle multiple tasks
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Ability to manage data tracking, reporting, and budget processes
- Ability to design and deliver trainings and seminars
- Ability to develop and maintain internship partnerships and site relationships
- Clearance: DOE fingerprinting
