Job Summary
Provide clinical psychotherapy services as part of a multidisciplinary team for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and mental health/substance use challenges. The Therapist I conducts individual, family and group psychotherapy, leads group therapy activities, develops and revises individualized treatment plans, and collaborates with consumers, families, and clinicians. Responsibilities include supervising psychosocial/environmental needs in recovery, facilitating discharge and aftercare planning, documenting progress, and managing high-risk situations (suicidal/homicidal/elopement risk) per program needs. The role requires Master’s degree, one year of psychiatric/partial hospital experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work day, evening, and/or weekend hours. Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a Human Services field
- One year experience in a psychiatric/partial hospital environment
- Valid driver’s license
