Job Summary
Long Term Substitute (LTS) Special Education Teacher at Sweeney Elementary School delivers direct/indirect special education services in a resource room and/or co-taught classroom, monitors progress on IEP goals, follows IEP procedures, manages paperwork, and communicates with families. The role involves developing and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans, directing paraprofessionals, delivering instruction aligned to students’ abilities, and collaborating with staff. Requires MN licensure in special education (EBD, SLD, ASD or ABS); NVCI CPI training preferred. Pay includes daily rates with benefits and district retirement contributions; position runs approximately August 24, 2026 to January 4, 2027, with continuation possible.
