Job Summary
Work with students and staff in classrooms to implement structured behavior protocols, deliver discrete trial training, and facilitate participation in general activities. Record data on student progress to modify programs and compile daily accomplishment reports for educators and parents. Provide reinforcement in small and large groups, administer assessments, and prepare modified lessons under supervision. Escort assigned students throughout the building, assist with personal health and safety protocols including diaper changing, and substitute for teachers as requested. Maintain confidentiality, support students with varying abilities, and participate in in-service training and parent conferences.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree
- meets Highly Qualified Standards
- an understanding of child development
- the ability to work with children of varying abilities
- evidence of ability to perform each essential function satisfactorily
