LTL Trucking Account Manager

Job Summary
Regional trucking account management role focusing on retaining and growing existing customer wallet share while prospecting for new business within a defined territory ( Medford, Bend, Klamath Falls, Eureka ). Responsibilities include daily in-person sales calls, collaborating with pricing and terminal management, educating drivers on good freight and new shipping leads, compiling weekly sales recaps, and training customers on API/webservices. Requires consultative selling, problem solving, strong communication, contract negotiation for initial and renewal deals, and maintaining a sharp attention to detail. BA/BS or relevant sales experience preferred; LTL sales experience preferred; strong PC skills and MS Office proficiency are expected. Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales, or relevant experience preferred
- LTL sales experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Clean driving record and evidence of insurability are required
- Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects
- Experience training customers on API/webservices is preferred
