LTL Central Canada Driver - Tractor Trailer Driver

Job Summary
Drive safely in all road and weather conditions to deliver and pick up product across various locations. Move freight between terminal locations, perform pre-trip inspections, and load/unload product accurately. Communicate with dispatch regarding pickups, deliveries, and inquiries while operating onboard telematic devices and electronic logs. Complete all required paperwork, attend safety meetings, and comply with hours of service regulations for all jurisdictions. Operate DZ units as needed. Work full-time shifts with varying departure times determined by HOS regulations, with bid runs or open board assignments based on seniority.
Required Qualifications
- Valid AZ/Class 1 license
- Minimum 1 year verifiable driving experience on AZ/Class 1 license
- Meet the licensing requirements for the specific job opening
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and health survey
- CVOR, Driver abstract and a copy of a drivers license
- Employment reference check
- Criminal record check
- Required to wear PPE (provided by The Erb Group)
- Some slip seating
- May be required to be gone overnight on occasion
- Will be required to operate DZ units
