LTE Older Adult Program Assistant

Older Adult Program Assistant responsible for supervising the Senior Meal Site lunch program, coordinating daily activities and class schedules, and providing participant and volunteer support. Responsibilities include managing volunteer schedules, ensuring meal-site compliance and recordkeeping, coordinating transportation and attendance reporting, assisting with program/events, aiding registration and participant orientation, communicating program updates, and resolving participant or volunteer concerns. Required skills include food-service experience, ServSafe certification within 60 days, strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork, and proficient Microsoft Outlook/Word use; preferred experience with scheduling databases and prior meal-site coordination experience. The role expects engagement with older adults (60+) and collaboration with multiple GCC departments to execute activities, events, and program delivery, with physical requirements such as lifting up to 30 pounds and ability to stand for extended periods.
