Job Summary
Lead a team of SW and systems engineers to define clear, testable software requirements and SysCRs for the LTAMDS radar program. Coordinate thread memo generation and approval for Fault Detection and Fault Isolation capabilities, translating operational needs into guidance for systems implementation. Analyze hardware–software interactions across LRUs and diagnostic infrastructure to identify integration risks before deployment. Support build planning, prioritization, and release readiness while troubleshooting system-level issues during integration and field events. Maintain deep radar system knowledge to reduce tribal dependency and participate in technical reviews ensuring accurate SW/HW integration. Requires active Secret clearance, 10+ years in systems engineering, and onsite availability in Tewksbury, MA or Pelham, NH.
Required Qualifications
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Secret - Current Security Clearance Status
- Active and existing security clearance on day 1
- Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- 10 years of prior relevant experience
- 10 years of experience in related Systems Engineering or Multi-Disciplined Engineering
- Experience effectively leading multidisciplinary teams of systems engineering professionals
- Experience with complex embedded or real-time systems
Desired Qualifications
- Self-starter – proactive in determining goals and objectives and pursuing the necessary course of action
- Experience understanding full-system behavior, not component-level impacts
- Experience of reasoning through second/third-order effects of software changes
- Experience in understanding of end user capability / expectations / training
- Understand LRU logic and fault isolation techniques
- Experience in preparing customer and/or management level briefings
- Experience defining clear, testable requirements or change requests
- Experience with RPL architecture, troubleshooting and debugging
- Familiar with configuration control and release processes
- Experience is understanding of B2 and B5 requirements
- Experience in schedule development, action item management, requirement change management and overall development and progress metrics
- Experience working with external customers; including USG, or FMS partners
- EVMS Certified (or equivalent)
- Experience in navigating the organization and working with stakeholders across the company to develop solutions to key program challenges
- Experience in technical leadership and guidance of multi-disciplined teams in the design and development of system requirements and design
