Job Summary
Senior AI/ML Engineer role focusing on the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of applied AI solutions across Computer Vision, Generative AI, and Agentic AI. You will build prototypes and MVPs to improve traffic and transport experiences for Singapore commuters, collaborating with data scientists, software developers, domain experts, and business stakeholders. Key responsibilities include developing and optimizing ML algorithms, designing robust data pipelines at scale, evaluating emerging technologies, implementing best practices, and driving iterative development with users to ensure operational relevance. The role emphasizes cloud-based solution delivery, DevOps integration, and cross-functional teamwork in a Singapore Public Service context.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
- Preferably with at least 3 years of experience in AI/ML, Data Science, or Cloud application development
- Experience in Natural Language Processing, Large Language Models, Conversational AI, Computer Vision, and Agentic AI
- Preferably with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices, Agile software development methodologies, and Git
- Experience with large-scale data pipeline management is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of Cloud solution architecture, and testing and deployment of Cloud-hosted solutions is advantageous
- Self-motivated, independent contributor with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Collaborative team player capable of working in cross-functional environments
