Job Summary
Regulatory Policy role within the Active Mobility Group, focusing on conceptualising, developing and reviewing regulatory strategies and policies for active mobility devices under the Active Mobility Act. Responsibilities include establishing rules and code of conduct to promote safety and courteous behavior among users, translating complex regulatory requirements into implementable policies, and serving as a liaison with government agencies, retailers, community organisations and path users. Core duties cover reviewing existing policies, crafting innovative policy solutions to emerging challenges, and developing enforcement frameworks supported by robust legislation. The position may involve a medical declaration or additional assessments during shortlisting. The posting is for the Singapore Public Service with locations in Singapore.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge in any discipline
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience preferably in regulation and policy work
- Highly adaptable, able to work independently and multi-task in a dynamic environment
- Good analytical, written and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word
