Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations, administering cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments to determine student eligibility and service needs. Analyze results to develop Individualized Education Programs, classroom interventions, and behavior support plans while participating in ARD and IEP meetings. Provide consultation, counseling support, and evidence-based behavioral strategies to teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Maintain accurate records meeting district and compliance standards, including reevaluations per state and federal requirements. Flexible placement options available in San Antonio area schools, with some evening or weekend evaluation opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
- Current Texas license or credential authorizing practice as a School Psychologist
- Experience administering, scoring, and interpreting cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments
- Strong understanding of special education regulations, evaluation procedures, and compliance requirements
- Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organization, documentation, and time-management abilities
- School-based assignments in the San Antonio area
- Some positions may require travel between multiple campuses
- Evening or weekend evaluation opportunities may be available
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred
