LSA Service Center Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

Conduct repairs, adjustments, and ongoing maintenance of facilities, including electrical, painting, and carpentry work. Evaluate repair requests, troubleshoot equipment, and establish preventive maintenance programs while recording standards and training operators. Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to load, unload, and move materials, ensuring safety checks and matching order numbers to tags. Maintain all equipment and facilities, fill out maintenance records, and process work orders from bills of lading. Perform packaging, labeling, and shipping duties, including double-checking parts before shipment. Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, with occasional on-call requirements. Maintain a clean work area and adhere to all safety protocols in a warehouse environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be a competent welder and torch operator
  • Must be familiar with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components
  • Able to disassemble, evaluate, repair and reassemble components back to manufacturer's specifications
  • Must have basic computer, email, and printer skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Must be able to use tape measure, micrometer, caliper, and calculator
  • Spray paint use
  • Tablet use
  • Use company software to process work orders
  • Can work independently and in a team environment
  • Self-motivated and takes responsibility for own work; can manage interruptions
  • Must perform all duties while meeting safety protocols
  • Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors in all types of weather
  • Must be able to work flexible hours or shifts, including evenings and weekends when required with little or no supervision
  • Must be able to operate a forklift
  • Must be able to operate an overhead crane
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Desired Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent, preferred
  • 1-2 years' experience in operating a forklift, preferred
  • D365 software usage
  • Quality documents/forms
  • Forklift operation
  • Overhead crane operation
