Job Summary
Lead the configuration, utilization, and continuous improvement of fleet management and dispatch systems to optimize production efficiency in open-pit mining. Drive real-time allocation of trucks, loaders, and equipment; monitor routing logic and priority rules; develop dashboards and KPIs; perform data validation and reconciliation with production, geology, and plant systems. Spearhead system integration with other mining platforms (drill & blast, plant systems) and advance digital mining initiatives including automation and predictive analytics. Build and supervise dispatch teams, promote safety, and pursue continuous improvement to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 8–12 years’ experience in open-pit mining
- strong exposure to dispatch and fleet management systems
- Proven experience with FMS platforms (e.g., Fast2 Mine, Frotcom, etc.)
- Strong understanding of load & haul operations and mining production processes
- Experience in data analytics, production reporting, and system integration
- Core competencies in fleet management, dispatch optimization, KPIs, and leadership
