Job Summary
Localization QA Game Tester responsible for testing and reporting game bugs in Traditional Chinese. Responsibilities include adhering to security procedures, mentoring less experienced testers, documenting bugs in English and proposing fixes, informing supervisors of progress or blockers, maintaining teamwork and client-facing professionalism, completing tasks within deadlines, and performing ad-hoc translation tasks when required. Required skills include experience in a Localization QA (LQA) environment, familiarity with bug databases and online test management systems, proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong written and verbal communication, ability to work under pressure, multitasking capability, and a flexible stance to shifts and hours.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a Localization QA (LQA) environment
- Proficiency in standard business software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)
- Familiarity with bug databases
- Basic familiarity with console, mobile, and PC setup and settings
- Knowledge of LQA submission requirements testing (compliance)
- Familiarity with online test management systems
- Clear written communication skills
- Clear verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to multitask efficiently
- Ability to act as a role model for LQA Technicians
- Willing to occasionally work long and unsociable hours
- Flexible attitude
- Prepared to work shifts
