Job Summary
Localization QA Game Tester focusing on Simplified Chinese to support testing and translation tasks. Responsibilities include adhering to security procedures, mentoring less experienced testers, attending monthly mentoring sessions, accurately documenting bugs and design issues in English, informing supervisors of progress or blockers, collaborating to meet group targets, presenting a professional image when interacting with clients, and performing ad-hoc translation tasks as required. Requires experience in a Localization QA (LQA) environment, familiarity with bug databases and test management systems, solid communication skills, ability to work under pressure, multitask, and willingness to work shifts including long hours.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Localization QA (LQA) environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with bug databases
- Basic familiarity with console, mobile, and PC setup and settings
- Knowledge of LQA submission requirements testing
- Familiarity with online test management systems
- Clear written communication skills
- Clear verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to multitask efficiently
- Ability to act as a role model for LQA Technicians
- Willing to occasionally work long and unsociable hours
