Job Summary
Perform physical therapy procedures and related tasks under the direction of a Registered Physical Therapist, assisting with patient activities and supervising technicians, volunteers, and students as assigned. Maintain current Alabama licensure and obtain BCLS certification within the orientation period while demonstrating excellent communication skills for a fast-paced environment. Work the first shift in a 170-bed hospital offering emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of APTA accredited educational program for Physical Therapists Assistants
- Current Alabama license
- BCLS certification
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability and willingness to work with all patients in a fast-paced environment
