Job Summary
Follow the plan of care as directed by the Registered Nurse and communicate information to appropriate places. Perform safe patient care adhering to Springfield Hospital policies and procedures while maintaining or increasing knowledge in the area of practice. This per diem role at Windham Center requires a Vermont-licensed LPN with BLS certification and de-escalation training, offering a base rate of $23.00 - $28.00 per hour with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a practical nursing education program from an accredited institution
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Vermont
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
- De-escalation training and certification (within 3 months of hire)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Experience with electronic medical record systems
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year medical/surgical experience (preferred)
