Job Summary
Coordinate and deliver nursing care to residents, including catheter care, wound care, dressing changes, medication administration, and management of medical equipment. Supervise care provided by HHAs and RCAs while maintaining positive collaborative relations with residents, families, and provider partners. Document all care and services in the electronic health record using nursing best practices and follow Inspīr policies and procedures. Report significant incidents or changes in resident condition to Nursing Leadership, Primary Care Provider, and family as indicated. Assist with scheduling, training, orientation, and coaching of Resident Care staff. Participate in health, wellness, and lifestyle programs and attend scheduled in-service programs, training, and staff meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse, licensed to practice in the state of New York
- Associates degree and a minimum of two (2) years of full time, or the equivalent of full time, clinical experience in nursing, at least one (1) year of which shall be in a home health care agency, hospital, skilled nursing facility, or community health program that included care of the sick at home
- A diploma or associates degree in nursing and at least four (4) years of full-time, or the equivalent of full-time, clinical experience in nursing within the past ten (10) years, at least one (1) year of which shall be in a home health care agency, hospital, skilled nursing facility, or community health program that included care of the sick at home
- Basic first aid and CPR certification
- Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse, licensed to practice in the state of New York with one of the following:

- Experience in assisted living, post-acute or long-term care setting preferred
- Experience with and/or special interest in working with seniors
