Job Summary
Coordinate and deliver nursing care to residents, including catheter care, wound care, medication administration, and equipment management. Supervise the care provided by HHAs and RCAs while maintaining positive collaborative relations with families and provider partners. Document all care and services in the electronic health record, report significant incidents to Nursing Leadership, and assist with staff training and scheduling. Follow Inspīr policies, emergency procedures, and safety practices while participating in wellness programs and in-service training.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse, licensed to practice in the state of New York
- Associates degree and a minimum of two (2) years of full time, or the equivalent of full time, clinical experience in nursing, at least one (1) year of which shall be in a home health care agency, hospital, skilled nursing facility, or community health program that included care of the sick at home
- A diploma or associates degree in nursing and at least four (4) years of full-time, or the equivalent of full-time, clinical experience in nursing within the past ten (10) years, at least one (1) year of which shall be in a home health care agency, hospital, skilled nursing facility, or community health program that included care of the sick at home
- Basic first aid and CPR certification
- Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse, licensed to practice in the state of New York with one of the following:

- Experience in assisted living, post-acute or long-term care setting preferred
- Experience with and/or special interest in working with seniors
