Job Summary
Supervise Resident Services Department associates, including C.N.A.'s, and assist in supervising the medication program and resident self-administration. Maintain positive relations with residents, families, and physicians while reporting significant incidents or changes in resident needs to the Executive Director or Resident Services Director. Support the completion of resident assessments, service plans, and clinical assessments per ALSA requirements. Assist the Resident Services Director with hiring, performance management, training new associates, and scheduling staffing. Provide coaching and mentoring to department associates, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and adherence to safety procedures. Hold a current Licensed Practical Nurse license, basic first aid and CPR certification, and two years of full-time clinical experience.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse currently licensed to practice in the appropriate state(s)
- Basic first aid and CPR certification
- Two years full time or full time equivalent clinical experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in assisted living or long term care setting preferred
