Job Summary
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care on the Cardiac/Intermediate PCU (Weekender) unit under supervision; duties include coordinating patient care on a fast-paced unit with cardiac and acute respiratory needs, no vents, and a mix of other conditions as physicians determine. Requires Practical Nursing degree and an LPN license (or licensure within 90 days), with BLS and IV certification within 1 year. Night shift, 24 hours per week, part-time; sign-on bonuses offered: $3,000 for graduate LPNs and $4,000 for experienced LPNs. Mercy Jefferson Festus, MO. Strong assessment skills and teamwork are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Practical Nursing Degree from an accredited school
- Current LPN license in our state or can be obtained within 90 days
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
- IV Certification within 1 year
