Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to residents during weekend shifts, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with activities of daily living. Respond promptly to resident needs and emergencies, reporting condition changes to the supervising RN or physician while maintaining accurate medication records and EHR documentation. Collaborate with the care team, CNAs, and families to ensure comprehensive, compassionate support and facilitate smooth admissions, discharges, and transfers. Work exclusively weekends from 11 AM to 11 PM with full-time scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program
- Current and active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Previous experience in a healthcare, long-term care, or assisted living setting
- Strong clinical and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems
