Job Summary
LPN – Med Surg at Mercy Hospital South in Saint Louis, MO. Night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM), Full-Time, 36 hours/week. Provides patient care using the nursing process under supervision of licensed professionals; coordinates patient care with other departments; maintains patient rights and confidentiality in adherence with Mercy Service Standards. Requires graduation from an accredited practical nursing program and a current Missouri LPN license; BLS certification and LPN-IV certification (or within designated timeframe). Education requirement includes a high school diploma or GED. Sign-on bonus available up to $2,000 for part-time and full-time caregivers.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license in Missouri
- Must hold and maintain a current LPN license in Missouri and meet all State Board of Nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (or within 30 days of hire)
- LPN-IV Certification completed prior to hire or within 3 months (up to 1 year based on unit requirements)
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent
